Andrew J. Mertz

Mr. Mertz is a Managing Director in Cowen and Company's Capital Markets Group, where he is responsible for the execution of all public equity offerings. Mr. Mertz has over 18 years of Capital Markets experience and has bookrun over 150 deals for growth oriented companies and over 250 in total, raising over $30 billion through bought, publicly marketed and confidentially marketed transactions. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Robertson Stephens in San Francisco and Bear Stearns in New York.
Mr. Mertz holds a M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Pace University.

Bill Follis joined Cowen and Company's Capital Markets Group in 2000 after working in the Debt Capital Markets Group since 1993. Prior to joining Cowen, he worked in the fixed income department at Dean Witter Reynolds. Mr. Follis is responsible for the execution of public equity and equity-linked offerings. In addition, he is responsible for trading activity of corporate clients including corporate share repurchase programs and the sale of restricted securities.
Mr. Follis earned his B.B.A. in Marketing from Pace University.
